Manganese steel is a common choice due to its excellent toughness. When subjected to impact, the surface quickly hardens, forming a hard and wear-resistant layer, while maintaining good toughness internally. This characteristic makes it suitable for medium to high abrasive ore crushing environments, such as processing iron ore, copper ore, etc.

The wear resistance of high chromium iron material is extremely outstanding, and its internal alloy carbides make it extremely hard. However, its resilience is relatively weak. Therefore, it is more suitable for crushing high abrasive ores, such as quartz, and can fully utilize its wear resistance advantages.

Carbon steel has a lower cost and is relatively easy to process, but its wear resistance and strength are inferior to manganese steel and high chromium iron. Generally used for processing ores with low abrasion, such as some non-metallic ores.
